Mama Beach Residence - Adults Only

Mama Beach Residence is a 3-star resort in Tonsai Village on Koh Phi Phi, set directly beside the beach with rooms looking towards the sea or garden. This adults-only property offers seven room types, from a single room to double rooms for up to three people. They range from 22 to 25 m² and include air conditioning, a private open-air bathroom with a hot shower, a balcony and a flat-screen TV. Depending on the room, you can have a sea or garden view, and selected rooms also have a terrace or sofa.

The resort combines its beachfront setting with a garden, sun terrace and a hot tub. Its restaurant serves buffet breakfast from 07:15, as well as light meals and snacks until 15:00; dinner service is not provided. Snorkelling and diving trips can be arranged, and the tour desk can help with sightseeing plans. The pier is within walking distance, and staff assist with luggage on arrival. Free WiFi is available throughout the property, but there is no parking.

The seven room types range from a 22 m² single room to double rooms measuring 22–25 m², with options for one, two or three people. All have air conditioning, a balcony, a flat-screen TV and a private open-air bathroom with a hot shower. Views vary between the sea and the garden, so you can choose the outlook that suits your stay. Some rooms also feature a terrace, while the Comfort Double Room with Sea View has a sofa.

Floor and layout distinguish several options: the Comfort Double Room with Sea View and Comfort Garden Double Room are on the ground floor, while the Grand Double Room with Sea View is on the second floor. The Grand Garden Double Room is on the third floor and has a large balcony. Sea-view double rooms include both king-bed and twin-bed configurations, and garden-view options are available with a king bed or twin beds.

Outdoor space is a feature of the resort, with a beachfront setting, garden, sun terrace, balconies and terraces. You can arrange snorkelling, diving, canoeing and other water sports on site, or ask the tour desk about sightseeing and walking tours. The hot tub offers a place to relax after time by the shore.

The restaurant serves buffet breakfast from 07:15, followed by light meals and snacks until 15:00; dinner is not served. A coffee house and bar are also available, along with a tea and coffee maker and minibar. Rooms have private bathrooms, free toiletries, towels, a hairdryer, an electric kettle and a refrigerator. Air conditioning and flat-screen TVs are among the room comforts, and free WiFi is available in all areas. Luggage storage and daily housekeeping are provided. The resort has no parking, and its water feature is a jacuzzi rather than a swimming pool.

Mama Beach Residence faces the shore at the quieter end of the bay, in Tonsai Village. Ton Sai Beach is 50 m away, and the village’s pier-side lanes have small shops, restaurants and dive centres. Tonsai Bay is 500 m from the resort. The beachfront setting and the sandy stretch give you a place to swim or sit by the water without heading into the busier village centre.

Tonsai Pier is 550 m away, while the walk from the pier to the resort is about 750 m, or around 10 minutes. Staff meet arriving ferries and help carry luggage, so you can walk the last stretch without carrying your bags. Let the resort know your expected arrival time in advance. There is no parking at the property, so plan to reach it from the pier on foot.

For a walk beyond the immediate beach, Loh Dalum Beach is 500 m away and Phi Phi Market is 800 m from the resort. Wang Long Bay lies 900 m away, with Wang Long Cave at 1.1 km. The market offers a change of scene from the waterfront, while the nearby bays and beaches give you more shoreline to explore.
